This Chilean Artist Creates The Most Shocking Body Paint Works

Just when you thought you had seen it all, this artist is ready to prove you wrong. Having mastered optical illusions, he’s using the female body as a canvas to produce absolutely mind-blowing art works. See for yourself.

Artist Jeampiere Dinamarca Poque, 29, has been creating dramatic optical illusions of women tearing themselves in half using clever body-painting skills.

Jeampiere said the unusual series of work came to him while he was working in his studio in Santiago de Chile.

“Most of my paintings are created in the spur of the moment,” Jeampiere says.

His work is often inspired by what he envisions in the moment.

He uses white paint and white backgrounds to blend his subjects into the background.

“The girl cut in two occurred to me when I was about to paint,” he said of this piece. “I started without any real plan of what I wanted to create. It was a momentary thought that sparked the idea.”

“The environment where I paint is really important. It must be aesthetically good,” he’s said. “It was vital to get a strong sense of the skin tearing.”

Skilled photography and clever lighting are other important aspects of showcasing his work.

Although many people are shocked when they first see his artwork, the response he’s had has been overwhelmingly positive.

He’s a man of many talents. You can check out his stand-up comedy on YouTube under ‘Maicol Jerzon‘.
