13 Childhood Photos Of The Men Who Would Become Faces Of Evil

You are about to witness the childish faces of some of the most evil men in history. These are men that are responsible for absolutely horrifying crimes. This is a warning – to look at their young, innocent-seeming faces, is not easy.

 1. Joseph Stalin.

Stalin once said “A single death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic.” Well, it seems that Stalin was awfully into his statistics, seeing as he is estimated to be responsible for between 20 and 40 million deaths. It is hard to try and look into the young eyes of a killer of that capacity.

2. Ted Bundy.

He’s arguably the most notorious “serial killer” of all time. It has been estimated that he killed up to, or even over, 100 women. He has been described as the very definition of evil. He would kill women in terrible ways and then commit sexual acts with their bodies until they were too rotten to continue. He knew no remorse and was extremely proud of what he had done. As you can see, he was a good looking man, something that he used to gain trust from women, before he began with his disgusting intentions. He died in an electric chair.

3. Osama bin Laden.

Osama bin Laden is infamous for his founding Al-Qaeda, the group that would carry out the 9/11 attacks. The group, with bin Laden as its leader, was responsible for tens of thousands of violent deaths. He would die at the hands of US commandos, but it’s disturbing to look at his young face, before he changed the world with violence.

4. Adolf Hitler.

Historians find it difficult to calculate the amounts of human life that he is responsible for taking, but most people would agree that he is one of the most hated men in history. It’s scary to look at this baby photo of Hitler and wonder how this vulnerable child could become so full of evil that he would actually start out on a desperate campaign to exterminate the lives of Jews, gypsies, homosexuals and many other minorities.

5. Heinrich Himmler.

This smug looking kid was Hitler’s main man, responsible for setting up the death camps, where he mercilessly killed millions. He was eventually captured, but committed suicide by cyanide while in custody.

6. Charles Manson.

Manson is responsible for inciting series of anarchic murders that would change Californian history. His band of brainwashed acolytes would kill the beautiful Sharon Tate, who was pregnant at the time, and cut out her dead baby. He shows little remorse, and indeed takes pride in his actions. He’s still in prison to this day.

7. Jeffrey Dahmer.

Dahmer was responible for the rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 men. After death, he confessed to committing sexual acts on the corpses, as well as eating them. He was beaten to death in prison. It’s incredibly hard to look at his little face and think of the life he would go on to lead.

8. John Wayne Gacy, Jr.

His nickname was ‘The Killer Clown’, and the name is apt – he would dress up as a clown and groom victims. He was an out-of-control killer, and he is responsible for the deaths of at least 33 young men, who he would sometimes sadistically rape and torture before murdering them. His is a nauseating tale, and to look at his young face, difficult to understand.

9. Emperor Hirohito.

He was the Emperor of Japan from 1926 to 1989, but he is remembered for the stomach-turning ‘Rape of Nanking’, the then-capital of China. His soldiers were commanded to devastate the hope of the place, and they did, maiming, killing and raping with awful eagerness. It is estimated that 300,000 people were killed all while Hirohito was in command.

10. Gary Ridgway.

Sometimes considered the ‘heir’ to Ted Bundy, Ridgway is known as the ‘Green River Killer’. He is the most prolific serial killer in US history, with 49 confirmed killings. However, he claims that he has killed over twice that many. He preyed upon vulnerable female victims, such as prostitutes and underage runaways. He would brutally strangle them to death. Looking at his young face, it is troubling to ponder what could have inspired his evil.

11. Albert DeSalvo.

Albert DeSalvo was ‘The Boston Strangler’, responsible for the rape and murder of 13 women. His acquaintances cannot believe that he could be capable of such horrific atrocity, but that young man on the left would go on to become one of the most notorious psychopaths in American history. He was stabbed to death while incarcerated.

12. Saddam Hussein.

Saddam Hussein was the Iraqi dictator notorious for vicious brutality and genocide. He oversaw a country crippled by fear of his random ruthlessness. Eventually deposed by the US-led coalition that invaded Iraq and convicted for one of the multitudes of crimes he committed, the slaughter of 148, he was hung.

13. Alexander Pichushkin.

He’s known as both ‘The Chessboard Killer’ and ‘The Bitsa Park Maniac’. His initial intention was to kill 64 people – the number of squares on a chessboard, although later he said that he would have continued for the rest of his life if he had not been caught. He was obsessed with competing in deadliness with another Russian serial killer. He claims to have killed 60 men, mostly the homeless, although he was convicted of 49. He is currently serving a sentence of life imprisonment.
